This might be one of my dearest treasures. I found this amp in the Shenandoah Valley in 2020. This is a Guild amp from 1953 on the outside, with a handwired Fender Deluxe 5e3 circuit inside. In addition to the 5e3, it has an optical tremolo circuit that gives this amp a pulsing, disorienting trem that adds incredible value to this amp.
If you want an amp that is truly one of a kind, this is it. That’s why I’ve kept this amp for so long. I’ve been enraptured by it’s tone, reliability, and unique mojo.
